Training – Jumping

Carrie is our resident jumping trainer, both hunter-jumper and jumper disciplines. WinterSpring has a fabulous jumping course in our grass field as well as jumps for the indoor arena in the winter. Carrie's focus is on the gymnastic development of the jumping horse and is patient and fair to horses just learning the ropes.

Carrie also takes young horses for starting under saddle as well as problem horses. Carrie has many years of experience starting young warmbloods and Friesians. Young horses are ridden outside as much as possible and Carrie varies their schooling routines regularly. 60 - 90 day is the usual time needed to get a horse well started under saddle.
