Clinics at WinterSpring Farm

WinterSpring Farm offers regular clinics with outside trainers in order to further the riding education of students and trainers alike.   Outside riders and horses are welcome and stalls are usually available.

About Ken

Ken McGrath of McGrath stables in Waconda, Illionois is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist.  Ken has been riding since a young age and his teaching style is influenced by his time at Temple Farms working with Lipizzaner stallions.  Ken worked for Temple Farms for 10 years and there met the person who would have the biggest impact on his dressage career to date, Willy Schultheis.  He later spent a year working for Willy in Warendorf, Germany.  Ken enjoys bringing young horses through the levels along with their riders.   In 2008, Ken was Region II Third Level Open champion on Leoluigi, owned by long-term client Lezlie Rehagen.
