“Rudi” is a handsome, blingy chestnut Hanoverian 2 year old with great potential in the dressage arena. Rudi is by the Elite Hano stallion Regazzoni (Rubinstein) and out of an Elite mare by Loerke (Laurie's Crusador). He is an appealing mixture of these 2 unbeatable lines: typiness and refinement/elegance of the Loerke/Lauries Crusador side, with the suppleness and elasticity so prized in Rubinstein descendants.

Sire ES Regazzoni needs little introduction... The handsome and talented Rubinstein 1 x Werther son was overall champion of his Stallion Performance Test scoring 10's in rideability and disposition, a 9 for his trot, 8.5 for his walk, and 8 for his canter. He has sired many performance horses and has 13 licensed sons. Regazzoni competed successfully through FEI dressage, showing that he possesses the character, soundness, and quality necessary to reach the toughest levels of the sport. See a video of this lovely stallion here:

Rudi’s dam EM Leeandra is sired by the Elite stallion ES Loerke (Laurie's Crusador x Weltmeyer). Leeandra holds the honor of being in the top 1-2% of all mares inspected by the AHS - an overall "8" mare. She was 5th Top Inspection Mare in 2009. She received an "8" for conformation (including a "9" for her head and neck), a rare "10" for typiness/femininity, "8" for overall impression/development for a total score of "8". But don't let the pretty face fool you, she was the Hi-score/Champion Mare of her Mare Performance Test at the Mid-Atlantic AHS Inspection at Morven Park in 2009 with an 8 for rideablility, 7.67 for gaits and 8s for jumping for a total score of 7.89 after only 3 months under saddle. Video of her Mare Perfomance Test can be seen here:

Rudi has what it takes to excel in dressage...beautiful conformation and movement, outstanding bloodlines, and a fabulous personality. At his foal inspection the judge commented, "impressive looking colt and he knows it!" and "nicely put together for sure". This colt is soft and inquisitive with an "in your pocket" personality. He has a lovely refined head, a beautiful neck and shoulder with a good engine and three lovely, correct gaits. What really stands out about this youngster is his unbeatable suppleness and elasticity! All the elements to succeed in the dressage ring! He should excel as an amateur’s mount, but has enough talent for the junior or professional. Rudi is handled daily and well socialized. He is excepted to mature to around 16.1-16.2 hh.

Would love to keep this exceptional boy in-barn, but need to reduce our young horse numbers!
